Does this make my rear look bigger?

YES!

Bigger Tires on Challenger R/T?

There are numerous configurations of tire setups for you to choose, but take into account the rim width maximum for safe tire installation.  I wanted to have a larger rear tire to get better traction and more to a more legacy "staggered" type look, since I have lowered my front (SRT springs) about 1.25 inches.

Installing new rear rubber on your 2009-2011 R/T for improved looks and performance.  Nitto 555 rubber!  Let's look at a side by side comparison to stock 235 width on OEM 18in rims.  The width difference is approximately 1.5 in.

This view shows nearly identical diameter (height) for each.

I like the staggered look and the dry handling is fantastic.  I cannot speak much to wet driving
as I do not drive my Challenger daily and avoid driving in rain.  Like any wide tire, you need to
be cautious in driving in water that is standing on the highway to avoid hydroplaning.
